(Members only) The Quilt Museum and Gallery cares for a collection of over 800 quilts and related objects dating from 1700 to the present day. Located in the centre of York it displays changing exhibitions of quilts and textile art. The museum and gallery is managed by The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles, which promotes the understanding, appreciation and knowledge of the art, techniques and heritage of patchwork, quilting and appliqué.’ www.quiltmuseum.org.uk
