Susan Vincent, dress historian

What were the pleasures and disciplines of dress? How did garments affect personal interactions, bodily movements and the wearer’s health? What was the relationship between clothing and morality? Susan’s work invites us to explore some of these desires and enter an aesthetic sometimes radically different from our own. Susan is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of York, and has published widely in the field of fashion and dress history.
